EDT has currently developed a safer PolyAction® projected capacitive touch solution to avoid accidental touch problems, which can provide safer touch functions for industrial control, medical and transportation and other fields.
EDT PolyAction® solution mainly integrates projected capacitive touch function and capacitive pressure sensing function through a single touch IC.Just by designing a capacitive pressure sensing mechanism on the module frame, you can obtain the pressure touch recognition function with 128 levels of pressure grayscale.It can also provide relevant design solutions for human-machine interfaces (HMI) that require safe touch function development in related fields.
For example, in the GUI design of a fruit vegetable machine, the PolyAction® solution can provide both general touch functions and pressure touch functions in the same operating function screen, so that control components that control speed and time can use general touch functions. For the fruit and vegetable machine motor start button that requires safer control functions, we can use pressure touch and press dwell time settings to ensure that the user’s operation process will not cause any danger due to accidental touch.
