What is NFC?
Near Field Communication (NFC) is a wireless communication standard which enables two devices in close proximity to establish a communication channel quickly using radio waves in the 13.56 MHz frequency range. NFC is a useful technology for data transfer between devices at a short distance. Because the two devices need to be very close (less than 10 cm), it is more secure than other wireless technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Therefore, NFC Antennas can be seen as an easy and secure tool for establishing quick, two-way connections for data transfer.
Technology & Application
EDT NFC antenna can be built into a touch display, either on sensor or cover lens. Moreover, EDT NFC antenna technology can support “full screen NFC communication”, which turns any display into a payment and authentication interface by simply holding an NFC compatible smartphone or IC card over the display. Meanwhile, our technology conforms to several international standards, including ISO 14443A/B、ISO 15693、MIFARE、EMVCo.
Nowadays, NFC has been applied to various application, such as Wireless Pairing, Smart Payment/Transactions, Identity Validation/Access Control. With less limitation on mechanical design and more intuitive way to use NFC communication, we make your device user interface smarter.
